SAND ASSOCIATES is a nationwide management consulting firm based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, that provides extensive services to nonprofit agencies. Our promise is to provide the highest quality services to nonprofit agencies at the lowest possible cost.
We pride ourselves in being able to meet nearly any need of nonprofit agencies. Many of our clients have used our grant writing, fundraising, board development and strategic planning services. In order to keep costs low, we provide many services on line and by phone. We can just charge a low hourly fee which would be our only charge.
Many clients participate in our Consultant on Call program. For a low annual fee, they receive unlimited consulting services by e-mail and phone.
We can provide on-site training and consulting as well. Training has included such topics as board development, personnel management, effective supervision, volunteer management, fundraising and grant writing. Consulting has included a variety of topics including program evaluation, problem solving and staff evaluation.
Our more than one hundred consultants are located throughout the United States, so often we can keep travel and overnight expenses to a minimum. Because of the numerous specialties of these individuals, we can meet nearly any need of nonprofit agencies.
Background on you and/or your business:
Michael A. Sand, Esq. graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1966. He was employed by many nonprofits including serving as Executive Director of the Community Action Association of Pennsylvania. He founded SAND ASSOCIATES in 1982 to provide comprehensive management services to nonprofit agencies.
We ask potential clients to write us a memo outlining the services they request. In some instances, the services can be provided by Michael Sand. He has the option of turning to more than one hundred Associates, each of whom has extensive backgrounds in helping nonprofit organizations. He will provide the client with a detailed outline of the services to be provided and a specific fee.
