As a coach, I help people with organization, time management, prioritizing, and making tasks doable. I have worked with hundreds of clients who feel stuck or overwhelmed with their writing projects. We work together to develop an action plan as well as to build in accountability and rewards. My writing coaching clients are usually working on a dissertation, book, or articles. My life coaching clients often need to develop a plan for organizing their lives, managing their time, or deciding on next steps toward life goals. I also have experience writing responses to RFPs and grant proposals. I can research, edit, and make suggestions as well as do some of the writing for you.
I will work with clients anywhere in the USA or the world, as long as we can work in English. Although most of my clients are in the US, I have had clients in China, Europe, and Canada. I am comfortable working on the phone and by email as well as face-to-face.
Background on you and/or business:
I have coached hundreds of people who are working on a dissertation, thesis, book, book chapter, or articles. I teach Writing for Professional Publication and sometimes Research Methods at the Smith College School for Social Work. I was a program director in human services for years before I left agency work to pursue my business full time. I am a member of the Cambridge Academic Editors Network and the Western Massachusetts Freelance Editors Network.
