Background on you and/or your business:

Little Green Light was created during the years 2007-2009 and launched in April 2009 by brothers Chris and Nick Bicknell to help non-profits spend less time managing data and more time raising money.

LGL was designed by Chris, who has many years of fundraising experience as a consultant, director of development, and volunteer. Chris built his first donor database in Filemaker Pro in 1992 so he could get the lists and reports he needed to streamline his fundraising efforts. Years later, as a fundraising consultant, he was frustrated by expensive donor systems designed for direct mail, which led him back to managing lists in custom databases and Excel spreadsheets. These custom solutions got the job done, but they required a lot of sweat and late nights to build and maintain.

Recognizing the need for something better, Chris teamed up with his code-wrangling brother, Nick, to build a system that worked from the start, without customization. Together, they built Little Green Light so that you don't have to continually lose time to designing queries, getting data for reports, and working with Excel lists to effectively help your management, board, and major gift staff meet their fundraising goals.
