Holistic Health connections is a wellness and health coaching business owned by Pamela Burris RN, MSN, AHN-BS, SUN Certified Life and World Health Online Wellness Coach.  Pamela provides individual and group coaching services from a whole person, integrated perspective that recognizes the connection between of all aspects of life and wellness.  Her coaching focuses on increasing self awareness of current wellness, desired goals for achieving improved wellness and health, and the steps necessary to attain and sustain desired change.
 
Pamela is certified in the use of the Wellness Inventory©, a holistic assessment and life-balance program designed to help client’s gain personal insight into their state of physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness. She use this program  in conjunction with her professional coaching skills to provide client’s with the tools and resources to transform their new awareness into sustainable lifestyle change, and a renewed sense of health and wellbeing.

Individual and group coaching is accomplished in person and via telephone, most often over a four to six month period of time. Training for professionals and groups in the use of wellness and health coaching skills is also available in conjunction with the Health Coaching Institute. 

Pamela gives conference presentations and conducts community and professional education workshops on wellness coaching and holistic health topics such as whole foods nutrition, energy medicine and healing, stress reduction and mindfulness practices.

Pamela Burris RN, MSN, AHN-BC, CPC received her training as a coach from Success Unlimited Network, Inc. and is certified in the use of the Wellness Inventory holistic assessment program.  She is currently working toward International Coach Federation certification designation as a PCC (professional certified coach). Pamela’s coaching combines her experience in wellness, health and life coaching with her experience as a holistic nurse to provide wellness coaching services to individuals and groups from a whole person, integrated perspective.  She has a passion for and commitment to seeing that all people have access to wellness coaching services having witnessed the powerful and transformative nature of such coaching for improving well being and overall health.

In addition to her seven years of professional coaching, she has over twenty five years of experience in the provision of patient care, health promotion and advocacy, and teaching, all of which inform her coaching. She is certified by the American Holistic Nurses Association as an Advanced Holistic Nurse and has training and practice in the use of various energy healing modalities such as Therapeutic Touch, Healing Touch, and Reiki; nutritional practices, herbal and botanical medicines; and mind-body practices such as mindfulness meditation, yoga, and guided imagery.
