Frequently Asked Questions

What is the cost to a nonprofit for searching NonProfit Direct: The NonProfit National Resource Directory?

There is no cost to search the directory.  This is a free service for those nonprofits looking for independent businesses and services that can assist them to achieve the mission of their organization or institution.

Does NonProfit Direct rate or evaluate the services provided?

No.  The directory is a searchable database of vendors with pertinent information on each one.  However, NonProfit Direct: The NonProfit National Resource Directory does not evaluate, rate or recommend any vendors.

Does NonProfit Direct guarantee the quality of services listed?

No.  It is up to the nonprofit interested in any vendor or firm to determine whether the service offered is appropriate and to rate the quality of service once the nonprofit has received service from any vendor with whom they have contracted. Please see our page on Disclosures and Disclaimers for more information.

What is the best way to search for a consultant or vendor?

You may want to search using the drop down menu on the right of each page for vendors in a variety of services.  Not all the categories have vendors listed yet.  We are adding new listings each week, so it is important to check back frequently if you do not find what you are looking for.  You can also search by typing in the state in which your nonprofit organization is located if you would like to work with a local vendor.
