Background on you and/or your business:

Gloria L. Hess is a career/executive coach who specializes in helping mid-to-senior management professionals, executives and entrepreneurs better manage their careers.

Throughout the last ten years, Gloria has worked with numerous clients across a variety of roles, disciplines, industries and sectors—including non-profit—and those switching from other sectors into non-profit.

In addition to her private practice, Gloria’s experience includes serving as Career Development Services Consultant/Coach for Northwestern University’s MSC Program, and previously, as the Associate Director of Career and Corporate Alliances for the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

Gloria holds both a bachelors and a masters degree in Communication from Northwestern University. She is also a Certified Global Career Development Facilitator who trained through the UW-Madison’s Center on Education and Work and received her certification through the Center for Credentialing and Education—an affiliate of the National Board for Certified Counselors.

An active member of Career Directors International, the National Career Development Association, the Association of Career Professionals International, the Career Planning and Adult Development Network, the Career Management Alliance, and the Human Capital Institute, Gloria also serves as the Career Coach on the Expert Panel for the Out-of-Work-Chicago job search and professional networking resource.
