Description of services:

CoreWeb can help you mobilize your base of support in a number of different ways. After years of carefully researching hundreds of nonprofits, we’ve developed many clear, systematic approaches to managing and growing a thriving community. Whether you need a plan of action for using social networks like Facebook and Twitter, help with the development of a new online community or a more effective way to segment your membership base, our collaboration can lead to tangible deliverables that allow your organization to make the best short, and long-term decisions.

Our process is grounded in our research findings and community framework, and is complemented by our expertise with utilizing new technologies. We want to bring our knowledge and experience to grow your community, but most importantly, to give your supporters and staff the tools and know-how they need to maintain sustainable energy. We guide your staff to develop a baseline of your community’s health, and then create a holistic plan of action to bolster more meaningful engagement that leads to greater impact and growth!

If your organization would like to apply this framework to an all-encompassing project to build an online community space, CoreWeb will use a customized combination of our consulting tools to design your community platform. We use your choice of either Drupal software or CoreWeb’s proprietary Content Management System to develop and build your online community.

Post-launch, we continue to monitor the health of the community, ensuring that the technology put in place is appropriate for the activity on your site. Though we leverage powerful technology, we strongly believe that it is through better engaging people that a community thrives. We’re here to listen, understand your mission and business needs, and help you along your way towards building a thriving community.

Background on you and/or your business:

We partner with inspiring organizations to offer guidance through our innovative planning approach to analyze and segment your support base. We aim to empower our partners to embrace a new engagement model that is metrics-based and action-oriented. We seek to facilitate an established clarity around the organization's larger goals with specific and tangible contributions by its base of support (both of a personal participatory nature and of a leadership track where appropriate). Our Booster Mobilization services aim to establish a common set of goals and road map for member engagement.

Through long-term, strategic partnerships with clients, CoreWeb applies business, strategy, & technology expertise in planning, building, and managing communities. The CoreWeb Methodology turns supporters and friends of your cause into more engaged members, active community boosters, and important leaders who create even more positive, collective, and measurable impact.

Testimonials and/or references:

CoreWeb most recently launched the new and improved Conservation Common online community (www.conservationcommon.org). Working in partnership with The Trustees of Reservations’ Putnam Conservation Institute, the updated Conservation Common website reaches out across diverse groups of professionals, activists and enthusiasts and incorporates the Urban Park Activists of Massachusetts, a network dedicated to preserving and enhancing urban spaces across the state of Massachusetts.  Andrea Freeman, Director of The Putnam Conservation Institute at The Trustees of Reservations speaks about the recent launch of The Conservation Common (www.conservationcommon.org) to incorporate a new focus on the Urban Park Advocates group of activists:

"The energy we feel on ConservationCommon.org and the positive feedback from the community is exciting; it’s been great to watch as more and more people see how this online community can help them accomplish their goals. The CoreWeb Team was instrumental in this project--they helped us develop a comprehensive community outreach strategy that moved well beyond technical specifications. CoreWeb’s planning and design skills combined with their creativity and dedication was essential for the outcome we wanted and received--a great-looking, easy to use, and vibrant online community. We look forward to continuing our partnership with CoreWeb as The Conservation Common grows." - Andrea Freeman
