Aqubanc® provides turn-key systems for gift entry, donation processing as well as evaluating gift processing operations. Aqubanc works with nonprofits to streamline work flow and business rules, reduce expenses and operating costs as it relates to gift processing. Improvements are accomplished while respecting the client’s Development Department’s need to solicit gifts creatively using a wide variety of reply/response mechanisms.

Since Aqubanc's founding in 2003, the focus shifted exclusively to non-profits and charitable organizations because their Gift Processing operations tended to be overshadowed and underserved. Careful crafting of Gift Processing along with fundraising "tweaks" enables nonprofits to better Steward Your Resources™.

Aqubanc's Cheque 21® System brings together imaging and data capture technologies which posts donor and gift data directly into fundraising software including Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge, Kintera, PledgeMaker, MPower MPX, DonorOne, Denari, Exceed!, DonorPerfect, and other fundraising and accounting software. Checks are deposited electronically using Check 21 or ACH to further reduce costs.

Aqubanc's AKuClick™ built for Kintera's web-based portal is available for Blackbaud Net Community for imaging and data capture using page-based scanning technology.

Gift Processing - Aqubanc reviews how gifts / donations are processed manually, by a lockbox or caging service or with existing automation to further improve and/or replace processes and business rules.

Operations Consulting - Operations improvement to compliment fundraising efforts includes work with fundraising printers/agencies such as Barton-Cotton, DataProse, Douglas Shaw, Enex, Grizzard, Masterworks and Russ Reid.

Background on you and/or your business:

James Cowen, Aqubanc's founder, has over 25 years working with a wide variety of nonprofit and commercial organizations in North America and Europe. Jim began his career in bank operations and consulting, so he understands how to best process, deposit and post transactions.
